I am a Senior (21 years old) at Hofstra University and I am on Long Island this summer (for a month) looking for babysitting opportunities. I have had brief experiences babysitting for family and friends, but my longest child care stint was working as a camp counselor for two summers. One summer I focused on children in preschool. I helped them with many tasks, like making meals, fun activities, and reading books. The next summer I worked with elementary to middle school kids and this presented a different challenge. It was more about getting them to stay active and meet new people instead of sitting on their devices. In short I really enjoyed my experiences working as a babysitter/summer camp counselor, and would love to create new experiences.
