Hello! My name is Isaiah Hendricks, I am 23 years old. I come from a rather large family and have taken care of my fair share of children. When I was 10, I often babysat my nephews and cousins. Since then my sister and family friends have payed me to watch their kids. I have some experience dealing with newborns. I used to work at Riverside Hospital. I was a newborn photographer! I learned many things about babies from this amazing experience. I also have experience with elementary – middle school students, I am currently working at KIPP elementary, helping the students learn and create their own music in after school all-stars. I think art is a great way to discover and express your own personality as well as helping your brain development in other areas. It is scientifically proven that learning music has direct correlation with improved cognitive ability and is better the earlier you start! I was an honor roll student, all throughout my education journey. I specifically do well in math and science and have been told that I tutor well. Outside of academics, I love being outside and running around. I dont really like when kids just sit and watch tv all day, that wasnt how i was raised. So whenever I can, I try to get my kids outside and moving. I am also learning American Sign language as a second language and would love the opportunity to share this language with your family!
