Hi! I worked as a nature camp counselor from 2021-2022 supervising 4 to 14 year olds. I have a car, am comfortable with potty-trained preschoolers and up, and can be available on short notice.

I adore working with children and entertaining the many questions they come up with. I let the children take charge on how we might answer their big questions and gently support or guide them along the way. No one has all the answers, and its important to emphasize that we are all lifelong learners! During summer camp I encouraged kindness and curiosity among my children. I excitedly built off their enthusiasm, helped answer questions, played games, and identified new species together.

I graduated with bachelors degrees in Environmental Studies & Philosophy and have completed some graduate coursework in philosophy. I live with a short-haired cat and am up to date on all of my vaccinations including TDaP, flu, and Covid-19 (bivalent booster on 6/8/23).

I am willing to help with homework, transportation to events or appointments, making crafts, and doing light laundry. I can help serve pre-made meals or snacks, although I do not provide meal preparation. Children must be potty trained, and I will consider sick care on a case by case basis.
