I have always had a maternal side to me since I was young. I have always loved taking care of children, getting to know them and watch over them. I started out volunteering in childcare at my church when I was about eleven years old. Then I started babysitting when I was twelve years old. I have worked with children ages 1-11. I have had part time nanny jobs over summers with hours from 8am-3pm at least three times a week. I have also babysat at most five children at one time. I always make sure the child/children are well taken care of physically and emotionally. I will also take up tasks such as cleaning after themselves, tidying up the house, watching over their pet, and preparing them meals. I love working with children of any age, and I am up to any challenge. Children have brought so much joy into my life, and I love getting to know each individual as well as their likes’ dislikes, personality, and character. I feel like I have learned more from them than they have taught me. I love to serve children and their families, and I have taken up many summer camp volunteer experiences working with young children. I have babysat/nanny a total of six families in the North side of the Chicago area, and I have had wonderful experiences with each family.
