Hi! Coming from a large family (two much younger sisters and seven cousins), Ive been exposed to childcare for a long time now. Ive been tutoring children for four years now as well— specializing in English and American Studies.

Having just graduated from Cornell, I have dual degrees in Information Science and American Studies— giving me a breadth of knowledge to draw on to aid in enriching the time I spend with children.

Moreover, my internship experiences have allowed me to professionalize how I can handle children. I’ve interned at the Museum of the Moving Image where I guided families through the Jim Henson exhibit, Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center where I led middle and high school interns through folk culture historiography, and at TREEage where I led high school cohorts in sustainability research. I care about providing children with social justice frameworks for their own growth— encouraging them to develop critical thinking capacities that are inclusive through dynamic activities.
