Hi there, my name is Valeska and I am a 26-year-old currently living in Brooklyn. I went to school for Civil Engineering and graduated with honors, however, during my four years in college I chose to work jobs where I would be in contact with children since this is something I am very passionate about, and genuinely gives me so much joy. I have worked as an after school counselor for middle school children, as a teachers assistant for an elementary school class, a summer STEM camp counselor for High School kids as well as two separate nanny positions for two toddlers. I love working with children so much because every child is so unique and always teaches me something new about the world and about myself. I believe that all children deserve respect, kindness and a lot of love and patience. I consider myself a very patient person, kind, understanding, energetic, creative and above all, responsible. My goal is to form a genuine connection with every child and family I work with.
