As someone who has worked in a range of educational settings, I have developed a deep passion for working with children and supporting their growth across many developmental stages. Ive worked with children from 6 months to 5 years old in various childcare centers and preschools, where I helped plan and implement curricula focused on early literacy. My experience as a reading specialist allowed me to train tutors and assist students struggling with reading, emphasizing the importance of phonetic skills and adapting to diverse backgrounds.

In the past two years, Ive expanded my teaching expertise by becoming a Teaching Artist, leading family workshops that explore topics like concepts of time through culture and painting in series. My experience also includes teaching ceramics to children ages 8-18 in an afterschool program, an especially rewarding challenge given the varying mobility and skills of the age group.

I am motivated by the joy and growth that comes from working with children, and my diverse background in education and the arts sets me apart as someone who can engage young learners in both academic and creative ways.
