Hip hop became a form of communication for the haves and the haves nots. Hip Hop was used as a means for sending a message through a lyrical art form about Lower class communities, expressing different struggles minoriities are facing in their everyday life. It became a means of expressing their lifestyles and ways of making money to survive. People that didn’t have a voice were now finally being heard through rap music. Lower class people were able to address Social issues in places that werent broadcasted on the news.
