Hi! My name is Sophie and I am currently looking for a long-term nanny/babysitting position, preferably in Brooklyn, NY. I was born and raised in Brooklyn and attended elementary, middle, and high school there as well. Through middle and high school, I held many babysitting jobs, as well as volunteer and paid positions as after school tutors for elementary school students. I recently graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY where I majored in Sociology and minored in Media studies and Statistics. In addition to earning my degree, during this time I held a job teaching arts and crafts to children and leading art lessons in other events and birthday parties. I also served as a meal-prep chef for one client and held other food service jobs which helped me get very comfortable cooking for a wide variety of people and preferences. In my personal life, I am very active and love running, hiking, cycling, and backpacking. I also love arts and crafts, especially knitting. I feel super comfortable and confident navigating NYC, and my experience as both a student and a babysitter in the city makes me a great candidate!
