Staring at a young age Ive always been fond of children. I was always excited to provide care for someone younger than me & be apart of such a responsible role. In fact, in 2017 Ive volunteered for the position of a camp counselor of kindergarten students at my childhood elementary school when I was only 13 & recently graduated to middle school. A year later where I became old enough to sign up for NYCs SYEP program, my first official paying job was once again a camp counselor at the very same school. Although this time, I took care of 1st graders.

Ive always been interested in the line of care-taking in some sort because it feels good to be there for others. My mom is a nurse in which she takes care of her older patients, so it must have rubbed off on me haha. Though, she recently fell ill of a stroke, so now I take care of her.

Im still growing up & I was far younger when I first started watching over children, providing them with snacks/food, actively listening & communicating with them, as well as having fun with them by engaging in their favorite activities. Now that I am older in comparison to then, I want to continue to pursue that path as a way to help others. Especially when sometimes parents have so much responsibility on their shoulder to provide financially & try to be at home to care for their kids actively.

Besides taking care of my mom, my recent experiences of care-taking is babysitting my mothers Godchild, Selah, who is 2 years old and autistic. It definitely is a pleasure & Im always excited to provide & play with her when her mom was unavailable. Since shes the youngest Ive ever taken care of.. shes definitely given me experience of changing a diaper as well.

As a whole Im hoping to continue the joy, dedication, & responsibility of taking care of kids by becoming a paid babysitter!

Im also VERY open to taking care of your pets along with your kids. Im very fond of animals. I have two cats of my own & my best friend owns a Australian Poodle Mix that I feed, clean up after, & play with when shes on family vacations.

Also, if youre curious about my present employment status, I am currently employed as a Whole Foods In-Store Shopper where I search for items, organizing & packaging them, getting them ready to be picked up for delivery.
