Hello, families! My name is Sarah, I am a 25-year-old social work graduate student and I have been working with children in many different environments since I was 12 years old. I started babysitting for infants/toddlers in middle school, and continued to babysit elementary/middle school aged children throughout my high school and college years. I am currently a social worker at a middle school in Brownsville, Brooklyn working with students in grades 5-8. I received my CNA, CPR and First Aid certifications at my last job as a Nursing Assistant in a psychiatric hospital.

I love working with children because they teach me so much through their imagination and curiosity. At the middle school Im working at, I have loved working with students using creativity as a source of learning. It became clear the importance of playing a grounding, comforting role for students in emotional crises.

As your nanny and/or sitter, I will ask your needs first, and how I can relieve childcare responsibilities to the best of my ability. I can ensure safety, kindness and responsibility with the aim to provide care that you see fits best.
