Hii, I’m Samarra — a senior at Columbia University but originally from Queens! Currently I’m studying pre-med, but I’m also an artist. Encouraging curiosity and creativity is super important to me! I love playing outside, there is so much nature to explore in the city if you look hard enough (and kids are extremely skilled at this).

I have two younger siblings that I helped raise in a single parent household so I know how to handle responsibility and have lots of experience with caretaking. Whether I like it or not, I have an older sister personality. But a benefit is that being with kids comes naturally.

I’ve been babysitting in the city since high school and have experience with kids ranging from toddlers to grade school. A lot of after school subway rides and playing in the park! Notably, I’ve successfully taken care of 4 extremely energetic first- graders at once, which is a feat of it’s own.

Im taking at least one semester off so my schedule is a lot more flexible at the moment!

Rate: $30/hour – $35/hour
