Hello! Im Ruby and Im a rising junior at Tufts University studying English Literature. In my free time I love to write, play music, and take walks with my dog in my native borough of Brooklyn! Babysitting was my first job and it immediately felt natural to me, lining up with all of my strengthspatience, compassion, humor, and adaptability. Ive been babysitting for going on 8 years, and have learned through all these experiences how I can use the tools within me to be a reliable, safe, and fun presence to the kids Im with. But babysitting goes beyond just a job for meI have found that being a sitter makes me feel more connected to so many things: nature, learning, and play, to name a few. Ive always loved kids, the way their minds and imaginations work, and am endlessly interested in getting to know children and being a positive presence in their lives. Im around the Medford/Somerville area this summer and would love to babysit part-time. Nice meeting you!
