I am currently a student at Hunter college studying clinical psychology, graduating in 2026. Being a sitter is a deeply rewarding experience for me, as it allows me to connect with children and families in meaningful ways. I love the joy and laughter that comes from playing games, reading stories, and engaging in imaginative activities. Its fulfilling to be a part of a childs growth and development, and I cherish the trust families place in me to care for their loved ones. In terms of experience, I have worked with children starting from two years old to 10 years old. This has included babysitting for family friends, volunteering at local community centers, and participating in summer camps where I facilitated activities and ensured a safe environment. Each of these experiences has helped me develop a strong understanding of children’s needs and behaviors. Regarding skills and training, I have completed a first aid and CPR certification course, which equips me to respond effectively in emergencies. I also possess strong communication skills, enabling me to interact positively with both children and parents. Additionally, I have a background in early childhood education, giving me insights into child development and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and fun. My ability to remain patient, organized, and attentive ensures that I can provide a nurturing atmosphere for children while keeping them safe and engaged.
