My name is Kiara Muniz, I am an artist, singer, song writer, part time baker as well as tutor and educator. I was born in Brooklyn New York. I have lived in New York as well as Cleveland OH. I have worked as an educator within various schools in New York and Cleveland. Ive also worked for various institutions conducting artist workshops for children/adolescents of varying ages. I was a supervisor as well as a facilitator of programs in majority of my positions. I am currently an art instructor for younger kids. I have a real passion for working with children. I am CPR and AED certified. I also am in the process of having my teaching certifications finalized. Working with younger children is my specialty. I also have worked with children with special needs and disabilities. As a creative person I like to integrate my various interests into my activities with the kids I supervise. Kids always appreciate creativity, I often unlock a childs favorite activity and inspire them to get creative. Little by little this brings about a childs autonomy, confidence and artistic mind. I genuinely love children and helping them grow to what I know they can be. Its been my whole life, Ive always been inspired by my family of artists and educators, I have a large family. I am able to coordinate activities and play dates. I also do meal prep, light cleaning, laundry etc. my price is a little higher because I am an instructor so if your child had tutoring needs that were extended, thats also another service I offer and I can reduce that and work with your budget. I look forward to working with my next family.
