Hi there! I’m Kayleen and I am currently offering childcare services between and after my classes in Manhattan and Brooklyn. What I offer is the combination of big sisterly love and professional expertise. You can trust me to add a spark to your child’s day but also delegate when things get a little wild.

I have plenty of experience with elementary to middle school-aged children.
Responsibilities include:
-After-school pickup
-Tutoring
-Preparing snacks and meals
-Arts and crafts
-Tidying up the house
-Accompanying children on public transportation
-Creating fun with or without electronics
-Helping with computer issues for school
-Engaging in conversation with kids, lending an ear and ensuring they’re heard

I am a volunteer mentor for elementary school children at Grand Street Settlement during my free time. I and other mentors are responsible for their safety on field trips around the city where we often take the train.

For most of my life, I have been an older sister and older cousin to an energetic and unique set of kids. I have enjoyed being the person who creates a fun engaging environment while also being the responsible voice in the room.
