My name is Kate and I am originally from Cape Cod Massachusetts. I grew with a younger sister and have worked with kids consistently as a babysitter, an afterschool aid, and as part of an autistic learning center for two years in Montreal. I was also chosen as an Inclusivity Intern to build a program for autistic children at a local synagogue. I am a very patient and empathic person who draws from my instruction in psychology and anthropology to effectively support and listen to the kids I work with. Lastly, I am trained in active listening as part of the Peer Support Center at McGill University and am qualified to manage emergency situations whether it be risk of physical or psychological harm.

Now I am living in New York working as a documentary filmmaker and looking to babysit part time! I am a film lover of course, very creative and love to come up with fun interactive games with the kids I babysit. I also speak French and can teach lessons!
