Hello, my name is Joe, and I would love to work for you nannying your kids! I have previously had three years of experience watching children in an after-school daycare program back in Washington State. There I’d be in charge of watching kids play games, helping them with their homework, and facilitating a handful of different daily crafts. At ESS (extended school services) I’d be overseeing upwards of 50 kids on a daily basis (with the assistance of other childcare providers). Prior to this, I had somewhere around at least a decade of experience babysitting my own siblings; three of which are younger than me and grew up needing sitting at some point every week. I love to interact with children and make them laugh and enjoy our time together. I also really enjoy getting to know their parents and building a communicative relationship with them. I want to make a difference in some kids’ day to day and make things like homework, chores, and behavior all run more smoothly for the parents/guardians. I like to be active but know when to slow the pace down for certain children, and I come ready with CPR knowledge, a driver’s license, and can teach swim lessons.
