My first job was assisting teaching Hebrew at my Synagogue. I got to teach lessons, participate in activities with students, led lunchtime and helped facilitate drop-off and pick up at the start and end of the day. I was able to teach multiple grades and I always found it interesting what I would learn from each student. A lot of my family are teachers, and getting to learn from them has allowed me to be a better role model for the younger people in my life. Since then Ive done babysitting, have led youth services at my Synagogue and now work at an after-school program. Making a learning space exciting and encouraging are things I find most important for young learners. To be free in exploration and crafting their own experiences is something I hope to nurture. I only wish to support and bring my passion and care to each child.
