Hello! My name is Bella and I am offering childcare services during this holiday season and throughout most of January, 2024. I am currently a sophomore at Skidmore college planning to study art therapy and am back home in Brooklyn for the month long break. As a native New Yorker, I am very comfortable with taking the train and walking throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan.

In addition to occasionally babysitting my nieces and nephews, I have 3 years of experience working with children ages 5 through 12 as a camp counselor at a summer camp in Maine. The campers with whom I worked came from diverse backgrounds, and included some with learning differences and some struggling with mental health challenges. I feel incredibly grateful that I was given the opportunity to work with all of the children for whom I was a counselor. The job was extremely challenging, but I learned many different strategies to help the campers with their varying needs throughout each day. My responsibilities included moving my campers from one activity to the other across a 240 acre campus, individually assisting them with their various projects, creating interactive games to keep them engaged and happy throughout each camp day, and making each one of them feel heard and understood while creating an inclusive atmosphere.

I am an extremely active person and have played soccer all my life. I love all sports and would look forward to going to the park and playing catch or kicking a ball around. In addition, I just like being outside in general. Also, I am a Studio Arts major and enjoy art and crafts projects of all types.

I love pets of all kinds and am happy to run errands and lightly cook.
