Since 2017, my journey in childcare has been both fulfilling and dynamic. My journey started through my involvement in summer camps as an SYEP participant which further deepened my passion for nurturing young minds. After that I was a teacher’s assistant in a daycare setting, where I eventually assumed the role of a teacher, responsible for the care and development of children ranging from infancy to 10 years old. Subsequently, I transitioned into the position of a group leader for after-school programs, overseeing the activities and academic support of children aged 5 to 13. From assisting with homework to organizing recreational activities and fostering creativity through art projects, every day brought new and rewarding experiences. Witnessing the growth and progress of each child has been immensely gratifying. My pursuit of higher education in early childhood education reflects my commitment to this field and my desire to continue making a positive impact on the lives of children.
