Hi there, my name is Hannah! I was born and raised in Texas and moved independently to New York for college. I’m double majoring in theatre and psychology at Hunter College. I plan to pursue graduate studies to become a drama therapist and open a nonprofit theatre/clinic for intellectually and developmentally disabled children. In addition to my studies, I am a youth rock climbing coach at The Cliffs At Gowanus. It brings me great joy to share a passion of mine, rock climbing, with the children in my classes. I find that coaching children in a group setting also provides education in social-emotional learning, communication, conflict resolution, and focus. I also have experience coaching children with disabilities, and I am very passionate about providing services to the disabled community. I have a physical disability and understand how much more complex and challenging navigating the world can be, especially at a young age. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old, and have experience working with all age groups, from infants to young teens. One thing I love about babysitting is that I always learn something new. Children truly are the future; seeing their perspective, how they view the world, and what’s important to them is an educational experience in itself. I absolutely adore working with kids and look forward to providing childcare services in the NYC area!
