Hello, my name is Grace! I am based in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. I am a recent graduate from Barnard College where I studied sociology and education. Over the past few years, I have acquired a considerable amount of teaching and childcare experience. I am comfortable working with all age groups, as I have worked extensively in middle and elementary schools in addition to preschools and daycares. I also have experience with babysitting children ranging from 4 to 10 years old. I find so much joy and inspiration in being around children, I am always in awe by their creativity, curiosity and compassion. I’m also constantly thinking about ways to cultivate meaningful relationships with them where they are given the space to explore their interests and grow into their best selves. Outside of working with children, I love to read and write poetry, go on runs, do yoga, and crochet.
