Hello! My name is Emma and I would absolutely love to be considered to be your new nanny/babysitter. I have always loved working with children and helping them grow/achieve their goals and have been following that passion since graduating college. I got my Bachelors in Psychology in 2017, following graduating I moved back to New York and began to nanny a little girl and boy ages 4 and 7 till I got a job in education. I began working at the Rebecca School for about four years as the Head Teaching Assistant in a few different classrooms of all different ages and disabilities. The Rebecca School is a private school for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities ages 4-21 that uses a “learning by play” approach for the children’s education. After leaving the Rebecca School I began running my own classroom as Head Teacher at Verny Kidz Daycare with a classroom of 10 at a time ages 12-18 months. While working here I have also helped out in the younger and older classrooms. I do have to say that I really do get the most joy from helping the children achieve their goals and discover their passions. I love doing art, dancing and singing to music, going outside, playing games and discovering new interests with the children I work for, their smiles, giggles and joy really do make it all worth it. I am very much an animal person and would love to work with animals in the home if needed. I have also helped care for my grandparents in the past as well as worked in a retirement home and am very comfortable with senior care
