I have over 13 years of child care experience including daycare and as a school teacher within technology and the arts, I have I have cultivated a deep belief in the transformative power of connection, relationship, and creative engagement in my work with young people.
As the Photography & Digital Media Teacher at Brooklyn Heights Montessori School, I have delivered an inclusive and innovative art education to a wide range of student populations with an educational pedagogy prioritizing the social and emotional needs of the student while they learn fundamental photographic skills. Through this lens I have cultivated environments where students feel empowered to explore, investigate, create, and take risks in their creative process and hope to provide this experience in my sitting practice.
As I am in transition in my teaching career, I am still looking forward to continue working with children while bringing the diversity skills I have learned; being able to connect and engage through the arts and seeing students find meaning and purpose in the creative process.

Rate: $23/hour – $35/hour
