Hello!
My name is Elexa and I am a 34 year old Artist. I have nannied and babysat for so many amazing children my entire adult life in order to supplement my passion for living a free spirited existence. Plus, I truly find being around children to be therapeutic for my own mental health. I love every childs unique signature and getting to know how to best care for them. I love enthusiastically meeting childrens needs as a way to heal my own inner childs unmet needs. I have a very warm and playful personality that children typically flock to. I have tons of energy to play with your kids, do activities, teach them choreography, we can sing (I play guitar), write stories, play in nature, climb trees or just let their imaginations run wild! I have a holistic approach and love to support whatever interests the child! I am constantly educating myself about childrens needs and emotions and reading about advances in psychology and culture. I take the influence I have on my little friends very seriously. I just hope to be a warm and supportive presence in your familys life. I am happy and flexible to do any additional tasks for your family while we work together! I have experience with children who are autistic and even non-verbal and had such a wonderful experience caring for their unique gifts and celebrating their light but I feel this way about every child! I am even in activist spaces, fighting for childrens rights to a life without harm and wish to expand on my advocacy in the future. I have a deep and nurturing heart that children seem to recognize. I can provide many many many references from families I have worked with. I am a professional when it comes to listening to instructions and making sure I am providing the exact service you need for your familys overall well being.
