Why do you love working with children?

I love working with children because their curiosity, creativity, and joy bring a fresh perspective to life. There is nothing more rewarding than helping a child learn and grow, and I am passionate about creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where they can thrive!

What experience do you have?

I bring a wealth of experience to babysitting, having worked as an art teacher for four years at the Corcoran Museum of Art and Design in Washington, DC. During this time, I taught children from ages 4 to 12, fostering their creativity and helping them look critically at exhibits featured around the museum. Additionally, I have worked as a project manager and operations director, roles that required excellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesskills that are invaluable in childcare.

- Educational Background: I hold a masters degree in business and an undergraduate degree in fine art with a specialty in fashion and illustration. This unique combination allows me to bring both creativity and structure to my babysitting approach.

- Language Skills: I am conversational in Spanish and have beginner skills in French, which can be beneficial in helping children with their language development and understanding different cultures.

- Cultural Experience: Having traveled to over 20 countries, I bring a broad perspective and appreciation for different cultures, which I love to share with the children I look after including foods, crafts and local customs.

- Family Influence: As the daughter of a lifelong school teacher, I have been surrounded by educational values and understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and positive reinforcement.

- Creative Hobbies: I love to sing, paint, do crafts, and play the piano, which I incorporate into my babysitting to engage children in fun and educational activities.

My experience as an art teacher has taught me how to engage children in creative projects, helping them express themselves while learning new skills. Combined with my professional background in project management and operations, I am highly organized and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
