With 15 yrs childcare experience & 15 yrs in child development & child protection programming, I’m passionate about working with children and understanding each child’s individual needs. I’m trained in SEL, ESL, Peace Education, and play/art therapy for children working through trauma. I also previously stepped in to help a family member coparent a newborn boy until school age (including sole caretaker responsibilities from 7 am-10 pm for a week at a time, and occasional overnight care), so am intimately aware and comfortable with needs and developmental milestones of newborns to school-aged children.

Years of experience allows me to follow parents’ lead on caregiver philosophy, feeding, praise and punishment. While I have enough experience to be as self sufficient as you desire, I can also be as communicative as you prefer. I am up to date on all vaccines, including flu, tDap and Covid, have previously been CPR/First Aid certified, and am certified in NYC for Mental Health First Aid.
