Hello! My name is Danielle and I was born and raised in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. I am passionate about working with children for numerous reasons, all of which drive my dedication to this field and my desire to help provide a safe, fun environment. Watching children grow and develop is another major reason why I love this work. My experience in childcare began with babysitting and helping my sister care for my nephew, Noah, who has Autism and is non-verbal. This experience has been particularly enriching and has taught me a great deal about patience, empathy, and the importance of personalized care. In addition to caring for Noah, I have worked as a childcare provider for a family, where I was responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for the children. In this role, I cared for a young girl, which included picking her up from school, taking her to the park, and making snacks.
What sets me apart is my empathy, as well as my ability to be strict when necessary and to be a child at heart with them. I understand the importance of balancing discipline with warmth and fun, ensuring that they feel both safe and free to express themselves.
