I graduated from Yale College in May with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and I eventually plan to earn a doctorate in psychology. Before attending college on a nontraditional schedule I worked as an instructor for 3-8 year olds in the Teton Science Schools outdoor education program. Throughout college I nannied for a wonderful family with two children beginning when they were 2 and 5 (now 5 and 8). I’m excited to return to working with kids full time!

I’ve found my work as a nanny to be an indispensable facet of my education, and see working with children full time as the logical next step before pursuing my doctorate with the aim of working as a therapist.

The bulk of my experience is with children ages 2 to 8, but I’m comfortable with a broad age range and have tutored middle and high schoolers extensively. I’m happy to participate in homework help, SAT tutoring, etc. I love spending time outdoors with children, facilitating independent exploration, reading, talking about ideas, and fostering creativity.
