I am a young professional working in childrens book publishing who also happens to have 13+ years of paid, professional babysitting experience under my belt.

In the past, I have worked as an occasional babysitter, a summer nanny, and a tutor/homework helper. I was a summer nanny for 4 years, working for two different families, and a more casual daytime babysitter with regular hours for an additional family for 2 years. During my many years as a babysitter, I have watched children ranging from under a year up to age eleven, with a pretty even mix of both boys and girls. I also have extensive experience caring for multiple children at a time, sometimes even 3 or 4 children.

I have also experience being an overnight babysitter and even a weekend babysitter, and feel comfortable taking care of children for extended periods of time.

As a babysitter, I love to take an active role with the children. I play games, draw and do crafts, read books, and also like to take them out of the house for activities when the parents feel comfortable with it. I am happy to take kids on walks, take them out for treats, and more! For older kids, I have a degree in English and am happy to help with any homework or studying.

I also cook and am happy to take care of feeding the children, as well as cleaning up in the kitchen after. I will also make sure any toys get put back in their proper places after playtime is over.

I am busy with my publishing job Monday-Thursday from 9-5:30 and busy on alternating Fridays, but other than that, I can usually free up my schedule! Just reach out.
