Hi! My name is Brice. Im looking for positions as a part or full-time nanny/babysitter in the NYC area. I have experience as a lifeguard and spent over five years as a certified swim instructor. I have taught kids as young as three months just getting comfortable in the water to early teens working on mastering specific techniques. As Im sure many of you already know, kids dont always love getting into the pool with a complete stranger. But having grown up as the oldest brother of four siblings, Ive always be in tune with the needs and concerns of children, and Im very proud of the progress my students made over the years.

I graduated from Loyola Marymount University with degrees in Psychology and International Relations in 2021. Outside of childcare, both in Los Angeles and my native New Orleans, Ive worked for various political campaigns in finance, organizing, communications, and campaign management roles. I worked in the office of then-Senator Kamala Harris before moving to a D.C. grassroots fundraising firm to help expand the reach of progressive causes across the country. Most recently I served as an Operation Coordinator and Executive Assistant in the non-profit space. In all of my roles Ive had to be responsible, reliable, and communicative. Im passionate about visionary, holisitic, and sustainable policies that uplift our communities and believe that it all starts with how we care for the youngest of us.

As I reflect on my future career, Im looking to use my skills as a swim instructor, a psychology graduate, and an older brother to do something that I love: teaching and caring for children.
