Hello! Im a 19 year old student with 5 years of childcare experience. I took care of my close familys children from newborn till elementary school age. I have experience with overnight care, cleaning, making meals, snacks, playing games, homework help, reading, etc. Im currently in school for music so singing, some piano playing, music theory teaching (if your child is up for it!) is also a joy of mine. Im very fond of children and want to create a bond so that they feel loved and cared for. I also love pets, and have a kitty, and can take care of a dog who is trained but I am not trained for puppy care. I am also quick on my feet and will be very cautious. As a first-generation American-Albanian, I take childcare very seriously as I was taught by my mom and close family how to catch cues, hold/watch a child closely, communicate clearly, listen carefully to their needs, and explore your childs ideas so they can be their best selves!! I live in Prospect Heights and will be able to accommodate more to outings at parks, museums, etc, any nearby pickups/drop-offs, or last minute calls if your family is nearby! Thank you :)
