Hello, I’m Ariel! I’m a linguistics and creative writing major in my senior year at NYU, with plans of becoming an ESL teacher. I love children and have taken several childhood development classes at NYU, as well as having managed my own classroom at a education-based summer enrichment camp. I also have experience with neurodivergent, autistic, and ADHD children. My personal values are curiosity, empathy, creativity, kindness, cooperation, self-sufficiency, joyfulness, and self-confidence, and I know how to engage in those values with your children in age-appropriate ways as you find appropriate. I believe very strongly in the art of play, as well as the ability to find fulfillment and fun in learning and taking on responsibility. I’m also super outdoorsy and love to go on walks! Overall, I’m a very nurturing, dependable, enthusiastic person, and I’d love to get the chance to work with you!
