Hi there! My name is Annah. I grew up on the lakeshore of West Michigan as the oldest child of four, so my childcare experiences started from a young age as I learned to assist my parents in changing diapers, entertaining my siblings, and maintaining peace. My mother is a private music teacher for kids, so I was surrounded by families looking for babysitters, and began babysitting kids at the age of ~ 14. I developed a close relationship with a family and ended up becoming their nanny for two summers and had the best time taking them to the park, pool, library, and creatively entertaining them everyday. I stopped this job when I went away to college, and during my time at University I tutored and learned how to make education and teaching fun for others. After college I began working in the field of behavioral therapy working with children with ASD, and learned so much about the relationships between environment and behavior, how to set kids up for success, and stay calm and safe during stressful situations. I look forward to meeting you!
