Hi everyone!
My name is Akebia and I’ve been babysitting for over 8 years so far! I’m the older sister to my little brother who I’ve always had the pleasure to look after and take care of growing up for my parents! I’m currently a college student majoring in psychology at the City College of New York.
I’m very patient and understanding and willing to make sure any child under my care feels safe and taken cared of while having fun! I’m willing to work with my college schedule to help out with your family’s needs!:
I enjoy working with kids because they are full of energy, and creativity. Everyday is different, and something to look forward to, and there’s always something new to learn about them! I find it rewarding and fulfilling to be a positive influence in their lives, whether it’s through playing games, or just being there to support them emotionally.
Being able to see them get excited and curious over something new reminds me of the innocence I experienced growing up as a kid.
