Hi there! My name is Aisling, but I actually go by Ace! I am 23 years old and a recent graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. As someone who truly loves spending time with kids, I understand the importance of providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and grow!

I have a warm and nurturing personality that helps me build strong connections with kids of all ages. I grew up in Massachusetts where I was a swim instructor for many years working with children of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I was also a swim coach throughout high school for the Acton Boxborough Town Swim Team where I was truly able to connect more deeply with kids and build meaningful relationships with them. Besides working with kids in the water, I have also had experience babysitting for families back home in Massachusetts and love engaging in various activities with kids whether that’s helping with homework, reading stories, playing outside, performing a play for the parents, practicing different musical instruments or doing some arts and crafts (I am an artist so this one is one of my favorites)!

I studied psychology in college and so I have taken courses in developmental psychology and cognitive psychology as well as more specific courses related to learning and motivation in both non-educational and educational contexts which supply me with a broader understanding of the fundamental needs that are essential for a children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development. With this, I strive to provide kids with proper nutrition in their meals and snacks, safety and security, love and affection, socialization, education as well as play and exploration when spending time with them!

Safety and supervision is always my top priority when it comes to looking after children. I was an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) for several years in Boston so I have extensive knowledge of basic safety procedures like CPR and wound care as well as what to do and what safety precautions to follow if a child is diabetic or has allergies. I take my responsibilities as a caregiver very seriously, and I am committed to ensuring the well-being and happiness of your children at all times.
