Currently, I’m a Direct Support Professional at two group homes, where I provide care for individuals with autism, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorders. My shifts consist of keeping the home tidy to ensure the safety of the individuals, preparing various meals, lunch and dinner ect, as well as keeping the residents entertained and engaged with various tasks such as house hold chores, arts and crafts, and even karaoke. I’ve been involved in childcare since my high school years and continued throughout early college. I hold an up-to-date CPR certificate, ensuring the safety and well-being of those under my care. I am passionate about making every child’s day a little brighter!
