My name is Tashika Martin and I am a certified Newborn Care Specialist and Nanny, with a certified
CPR and First Aid Responder with over four (4) years experience. I graduated from Bridgeport High with my diploma of accounting. I am a woman of good characteristics, loving, caring, honest, responsible, reliable, punctual, and hard working.
Within my four (4) years of experience, I enjoyed nurturing and caring for infants and toddlers. I love to work with parents, making sure all the necessary steps are taken to ensure that they are satisfy with my assignment. I adore children of all ages , and capable of helping new moms taking care of their child or children, and overcome the challenges of motherhood.
As a nanny my duties are feeding, prepare meals, bathing, assist with homework, take the child to school, organizing bedrooms/ toys, childrens laundry, read bedtime stories, activities, outings, maintaining logs, and light housekeeping. As a Newborn Care Specialist my duties are assisting with breastfeeding, getting the baby on a routine, organizing the nursery, doing baby laundry, teach the parent how to give the baby first bath, taking care of the baby umbilical cord. I implement soothing techniques and pre- bedtime log for babies to sleep at night and ensure to keep a log of the baby habits.
My goal is to help parents to have a healthy, happy child as they embark on the journey of parenthood. I hope to meet with you and your family, and have the opportunity to work with your child/ children.
