I am a college graduate who thoroughly enjoys working with children! I have been working with children for the past 8 years in a variety of settings- that is in school and at home. I work with children academically (tutoring) and also babysit. The age group that I work with is ages 3-12. I am Child/Adult CPR certified and certified as a Newborn Care Specialist. Some of my duties while babysitting include pick-up from school (driving), play-dates, meal/snack preparation, bathing, bed-time routine with story-time.
My assets are that I take initiative- when there’s something extra do be done in he home as well, I willingly do it. My priority is that the child is safe and well-cared for. I take a holistic approach to child-care- nurturing the social, emotional, and academic needs of the child. I am also very attentive and interactive with children-making playtime very fun and creative. I also love to take children on trips to the museum and park for some creative fun.
