I am an 18 year old first-year college student, who has worked a little in professional child care but plan to take it more serious. Although I am new with taking it seriously, I do enjoy it. Ihave looked after a few children, including the three-year-old child of my mom’s friend ,the six-month-old daughter of my brother, and my twelve year old cousin. I believe that by babysitting, I get knowledge on how to care for children, which will improve my experience when I eventually become a parent. It was also veryenjoyable for me to work in a daycare where the kids were infants and also ranged in ages from 4 to 7. I enjoyed playing games with them, engaging in enjoyable activities, and assisting them with small tasks we gave them to practice the alphabet. Some skills that I have are knowing how to entertain your kids but also manage their behavior. Another one is communication it Is important to know how to communicate especially with the parents and kids. I also feel that I am a entertainable person which can be good for kids. I can’t wait to get to know your children and make sure they have a blast while still learning!
