hey! I’m a 24 year old girl who just moved to NYC. I’m originally from Manila, Philippines and decided to try out the big city right after graduating because of the numerous opportunities it has to offer.

I have 1-2 years of experience of caring for children, mostly who fall under the toddler age. During my high school and university experience, we were exposed to helping children through multiple excursions. I would help out in teaching them creative activities such as decorating cards and hand painting. On top of that, I entered uni with the degree of BS Major in Mathematics before shifting to the course I graduated with. This made me exposed to creating lessons plans appropriate for certain age factors for kids. Additionally, I would look after my cousins (12y/o, 7y/o, 6 y/o, and 1 y/o) every weekends back in the Philippines while my uncle and aunt were away during the day. Most days were comprised of helping them with their Kumon worksheets and playing afterwards for them to treat it as their reward.

Taking care of children has been such a journey of growth, not only for them, but also for me. I had learned patience, creativity, but most especially, gratitude for the experience that leaves my heart full at the end of the day.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, doing nail art, thrifting, making videos, going to the park and explore hidden gems around the city.
