My name is Lynette and I have been working with children and adults
off and on for 10+ years. I used to care for my grandfather and he was paralyzed from the waist down. I used to cook for him, clean and change his diaper as well as his catheter. I used to take him to his dr appts and do recreational things with him. I used to take care of my grandmother by giving her insulin shots and her medicine. I used to babysit my nephew from newborn to toddler age, feed him, and take him to his doctor appointments. I used to babysit my niece from newborn to toddler age. I used to be a Home Health Aide at one point. I also worked at a special needs children’s school in Westchester. I would make a great nanny, babysitter, or senior care. Currently, I work for the City of New York as a custodian in Tribeca full-time. I am looking for something possibly part-time on the weekends, per diem, evenings, or overnight. I work Monday through Friday. However, I am available after 5 PM Monday and Friday.
I love children and I am a people person. I take pride in myself and what I put my energy into. I figured why not do something that I enjoy? I am a big kid at heart which makes me lovable and relatable. In addition to getting the job done, everyone wins! I have been part of afterschool programs where I tended to children between pre-k and 5th. I have my associate’s degree in Social Work and have done my internship at The Salvation Army.
