Hello! My name is Gabrielle but I prefer Gabby. I graduated this past May from University at Buffalo with a BA in Political Science and am now back home in the city taking a gap year (or two!) to study for the LSAT and save up for law school in the future. Although at just 22, I am quite young, throughout high school and college, I was a nanny/babysitter and loved it so much. My favorite part was cooking for the kiddos and exploring new places in the city with them. I loved getting the picky eaters to try new foods by cooking with them and it usually resulted in them loving it. In my free time, you can find me in the kitchen as I love to cook or cuddling with my adorable cat, Bello. If I am hired to work with you, please do ask for a taste test of my very famous mac and cheese, browned butter chocolate chip cookies or any food your heart desires! As for my experience, during my 4 years of high school, I nannied for a set of twin girls aged 6 until they were 10 years old. During my 4 years of college, I nannied for a 9 year old girl who is now about to attend high school where my services are now no longer needed. A few times during these years, I was also converted to live-in nanny when the parents took solo vacations or had emergency work trips. The duties of these jobs included picking up and dropping off at school in the mornings and afternoons, homework help, meal(s) prep, tidying up, and bedtime routines. A few days out of the week, we also went on various adventures around the city exploring different museums and kid-friendly places. In addition, I am nearly fluent in Spanish and have taught a substantial amount of the language to the girls in which they still use to this day.
