I come from a big family, where I am the older sister of five little ones. I have gotten used to being the person to watch them and my little cousins whenever my family needed me to. Therefore the responsibility of taking care of children is something I am very familiar with and am willing to adapt to any particular schedule for a child. I am currently working at a Daycare Center where I am a Teacher Assistant and have gotten the opportunity to be a support system for children ages 5-12. My role there consists of aiding in homework assignments, doing crafts and extracurricular activities, and maintaining a clean environment for the children to work and play in. This experience has been rewarding because while I am interested in pursuing a law degree, getting to play a small role in these children’s lives as an educator has inspired me to focus on family law. Babysitting as I said is familiar territory for me, but getting to experience different family dynamics will also provide me with further insight and learn how to connect on a deeper level with a family.

Rate: $19/hour – $23/hour
