My name is Alissa and I live in New York City . I was born in the Bronx , grew up in Manhattan and I have loved New York City my whole life. I enjoy learning, traveling, artistic activities such as painting, drawing and ceramics, and I love the outdoors! Some of my hobbies also include yoga, working out , reading, organizing and cleaning. I am going back to school this year and will be studying to achieve my PhD in Psychology. I have always had a passion for learning more about how our minds work and how we can open parts of our mind that havent been used yet. Throughout my experiences I have learned so much about myself, and about what I want to do with my life, which is to help others. I am passionate, I have great work ethic, and I love people (especially kids)!

I have lots of experience with kids, including babysitting for friends, family, and coworkers. I have worked with children in classroom-like settings and in outdoor settings as a camp counselor during summers and as an after school teacher. I find children to be very fun, entertaining and energizing! I have cared for children as young as 4 months up to 11 years of age. I enjoy encouraging kids to be creative with stimulating activities such as painting, coloring, reading, and exploring outside. I think it is important for children to try different activities and expand their horizons, and I love being a part of that! I love helping children learn. I will create a fun, imaginative, and healthy environment for your children, and I look forward to meeting your family!
