Hi! My name is Nicole Sanchez, and I have extensive experience working with children as a tutor, mentor, and caregiver. Fluent in English and Spanish, I am patient, responsible, and skilled at engaging children in both fun and educational activities. I graduated from UCLA with a biology major and a minor in science education. During my time there I gained a lot of experience tutoring elementary students, helping them build confidence in literacy and math. Furthermore, I also acted as a supervisor for the kids in the classroom and at recess. I have also worked as a mentor and residential assistant for high school students at Columbia University, creating a safe and supportive environment and also took groups of high school students on many field trips around NYC at this internship.
